Application Deadlines

Spring Semester - November 15 Summer Semester - April 15 Fall Semester - December 31

To apply: electronic applications are available on the University of Missouri Graduate School Admissions Homepage. Students applying for the online programs should state which online program they wish to pursue in their personal statements.

International Students: Please visit the International Center's website for more detailed information about admissions.

   

Qualifications for Admission

Admission will be based on several factors, including:
• Statement of Purpose Outlining Career Goals and Department Fit
• Cumulative grade point average
• Scores on the Graduate Record Exam (taken within the past 5 years)
• Scores on the TOEFL examination (for International applicants only)
• Three letters of recommendation
• Copies of officlal transcripts
• Research/Professional experience (please submit your curriculum vita or resume)

Admission to Online Programs will be based on the following:
• Statement of Purpose Outlining Career Goals

In the past, successful applicants typically have had
• A grade point average exceeding 3.0 (on a 4.0 system) for the last 60 hours of the Bachelor's degree.
• GRE scores at or above the 50th percentile on two of the three subtests (verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing).
• TOEFL scores of at least 550 paper-based, 213 computer- based, or 70 Internet-based (International applicants).
